Martin Blum: Vienna Mobility Agency (Austria)

Martin Blum is the representative for cycling matters of the City of Vienna and managing director of the “Mobility Agency Vienna”. The Mobility Agency is a company owned by the City of Vienna. Its purpose is to contribute towards a growing number of people who are willing to take the bike or walk in Vienna. As an intermediary between citizens, administration, and politics it links single players, implements awareness-raising campaigns, organizes mobility management, offers a service to citizens so that also in everyday life more people decide to use the bike or simply walk.

Maria Morfoulaki (CERTH, representing POLIS network) (Greece)

Dr. Maria Morfoulaki is an Operational Scientist A’, working at CERTH-HIT since 2001. She is the head of the Laboratory “Sustainable Mobility” and Dep. Head of the Department of “Transport and Tourism” of HIT.   She is a Transportation Engineer having a great experience on Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning, Public Transport Operational and Quality issues, Traffic Simulation as well as Marketing and Engagement Techniques and Methods. Her professional experience covers a wide range of studies and research programs with subjects related to sustainable urban mobility planning, sustainable tourism and mobility, crowdsourcing techniques and applications, codesign and marketing techniques and tools, traffic management, transportation planning using simulation analysis and transportation systems’ management emphasizing on the quality, the safety and the reduction of environmental impacts.

Josep Maria Salanova Grau (CERTH, representing ENOLL) (Greece)

Dr. Josep Maria Salanova Grau is a Senior Researcher of the Hellenic Institute of Transport of the Center for Research and Technology Hellas. Since 2008 he works at the Hellenic Institute of Transport, where he is leading the “Data analysis and modelling” laboratory. His scientific interests concern research and developments in transport and mostly in algorithm and model development, mobility, intermodal transport and logistics as well as Data Science and Big Data at the transport domain.
